  2. MAGIC CARPET 2 BASF DEMO

  5.     This is a five level demo of Magic Carpet 2, showing day, night and cavern type levels.
  6.  
  7.     If you wish to run the demo with sound and music, you must first run :-
  8.  
  9.         MC2SETUP
  10.  
  11.     This will invoke a program to allow you to configure the game for the sound card installed
  12.     in your machine.
  13.  
  14.     To run the demo, type:-

  16.         CARPET2
  17.  
  18.     if you wish to run a particular level, type one of the following :-
  19.  
  20.         CARPET2 -LEVEL 0                                (night level)
  21.         CARPET2 -LEVEL 1                                (day level)
  22.         CARPET2 -LEVEL 2                                (night level)
  23.         CARPET2 -LEVEL 3                                (day level)
  24.         CARPET2 -LEVEL 4                                (cavern level)

  27.     If you wish to cheat, to show all spells:-
  28.  
  29.         Use the cheat - Press I then type 'RATTY'.
  30.         ALT F1 - to access all spells.
  31.         ALT F2 - (several times) more mana
  32.         ALT F9 - (once) to gain free spell access, ie. without needing certain castle levels.
  33.         Shift & C - Complete level.

  36. IN GAME MOUSE CONTROLS

  39.     Mouse Motion Left/Right             Alter direction of flight left and right.       
  40.     Mouse Motion Forwards/Backwards     Alter direction of flight up and down.
  41.     Cursor Up/Down                      Increase/Decrease speed of flight.
  42.     Cursor Left/Right                   Move sideways left or right.

  44.     Left Mouse Button                   Fire left selected spell.
  45.     Right Mouse Button                  Fire right selected spell.

  47.     Shift & Left Mouse Button           Toggle through left marked spell list.
  48.     Shift & Right Mouse Button          Toggle through right marked spell list.

  50.     Control                             Bring up spell menu.
  51.     Return                              Bring up map screen.
